Monday

Today has been a pretty mellow day. Dad went to work and we all started the day with a few chores. Some friends dropped off their little one for the day because they had to make a trip to Spokane. We all had breakfast together. Then some of us worked on schoolwork and I did some cooking. Then Mom and I went on a jog with a friend and the kids went on a bike ride. Then we all came home and some took naps but we all have enjoyed a nice afternoon inside, cozy and dry (it is raining super hard outside). We are going to prepare dinner for a family from our church that is coming over soon. Have a fantastic afternoon! Pictures and Recipe to follow.

A Busy Busby Sunday

This morning we woke up and the electricity was out from about 6-9:30. So we prepared to make breakfast without the stove. It simplified our morning a lot actually, we honestly enjoyed it more then normal. Then it came back on in time to get morning showers done and dishes. It work out quit well. We all got dressed up and loaded up in the Big red van to head to church. We had some great fellowship.

Then we all came home to change and go to a 4H event. We had lunch at Cathy's Cafe and then went to a movie. We took two of our dearest friends and had a blast. Dad stayed home with Samuel, Aimee, and Matthias and they watched a ski movie and went on a bike ride. I am sure they had a blast also!

When we got home mom and the girls got the dinner on the table that we had been cooking all day. Dad did some chores outside and I took Matthias for a walk to see our goats. We had a great dinner, and then we finished the day out with some Push-ups and Sit-ups and prayer. Mom was in the kitchen making Kale Chips. When she went down to put her second tray of Chips in she found that the dehydrator was no longer working (apparently she had tried to fix it earlier and ended up blowing the breaker by wrapping wires together that where not supposed to be.). So all that to say that there was a bit of commotion in the garage. Dad is now out there fixing it. But Mom did her best and I am sure the chips will be delicious! Recipe and Pictures to follow.

Saturday

Saturday.
Today Dad and Jacob had to make a trip into Spokane for some groceries and some other work obligations. Mom and I went for an early morning run and the kids rode their bikes. Amber went to a baseball game with a friend. Then we came back and did some chores. Now everyone is enjoying an afternoon nap or having some quiet time relaxing. Later we have a bit more cleaning to do and preparation for dinner. What a Beautiful day the Lord has made.

A Great Afternoon

We had a great afternoon today! All the Little’s woke up from their naps and headed outside, due to that it was so beautiful out. Mom and Amber baked Cinnamon Rolls, Bread, and Pizza for dinner.
A friend stopped by to help with some gardening and their two kids joined us on our hike through the woods.
Jacob, Samuel, Aimee, Matthias (but we call him Ty) and our two extra best friends Sage and Luke started out for an adventure through the woods. We had a blast and took some pictures.
Then we made our way back to the house where mom and the girls had dinner (Pizza) ready for all the cuties to eat! Then we said good-bye to our friends and headed to get ready for bed (PJ’s, brushing of teeth, bed time songs, stories, etc.).
We had a great day and are excited to start a fresh new day tomorrow! Hope you have a Fantastic night. :  )
