Today has been a pretty mellow day. Dad went to work and we all started the day with a few chores. Some friends dropped off their little one for the day because they had to make a trip to Spokane. We all had breakfast together. Then some of us worked on schoolwork and I did some cooking. Then Mom and I went on a jog with a friend and the kids went on a bike ride. Then we all came home and some took naps but we all have enjoyed a nice afternoon inside, cozy and dry (it is raining super hard outside). We are going to prepare dinner for a family from our church that is coming over soon. Have a fantastic afternoon! Pictures and Recipe to follow.

Here is the recipe for the Kale Chips mom made last night:

  • Kale (as much or as little as you want)
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic Salt

1. Start by sorting our the Kale and cutting it into smaller pieces.
2. In a medium bowl, Drizzle Oil and sprinkle on Salts and pepper. Make sure all is oiled.
3. Place on dehydrator racks. And let them sit for about 12 hours or until crisp.

Use on Salads, Soups, Rice, Lots of other things or just to snack on something healthy!

Ready to eat
